Short Statement

Silver lining, inside outside, an abstracted dreamscape evolves from the questions that now have to be asked of the human existence. Thomas Doyle works with acrylic paint on canvas as he explores the reality of turmoil in systemic change dictated by pandemic conditions.  Can a positive be found inside a negative? Is this the evolution of a new social landscape?

Questions emerge from a new landscape. A dark core opens up new worlds, opportunities arise from necessity, creativity and innovation, thin threads in the worn social fabric showing signs of breaking point. Silver, the colour of hope fames this piece as it delves into the dreamscape of the subconscious. Thomas Doyle explores a narrative of reflection as he navigates the canvas though form and colour.  Familiar shapes from abstracted symbols create microbial formations in the landscape, cultivating a breeding ground of questions about future possibility.
